How the upgrade to
Relay 2.0 works

We’ve made the upgrade process as easy as possible for you, and you’ll
be in complete control of your money at all times.

STEP 1: Get your new account and routing numbers.

  • Accept Relay 2.0’s Terms of Service
  • We’ll auto-create Relay 2.0 checking accounts for you
  • Your 2.0 accounts will have new account and routing numbers

STEP 2: Reissue debits cards; move money and transactions to 2.0 accounts.

  • Debit cards need to be reissued to work with 2.0 accounts
  • You’ll get a Relay 2.0 checklist to help you move transactions to Relay 2.0
  • You can move money and transactions incrementally or all at once

You’ll have 15 days to complete your Relay 2.0 upgrade.

  • The 15-day upgrade period begins the day you receive an invite to start your upgrade
  • Relay 1.0 checking accounts will be closed after your 15-day upgrade period
