Submitting your Advisor Directory profile lets small business owners find your firm through Relay's public directory of accounting and bookkeeping partners. This is a five-step task that usually takes under five minutes.
What you need before you start
An active Relay account designated as a firm account at registration
Owner or member access to your firm's Partner Portal
Your firm's details ready: services offered, credentials and certifications, and the industries you support
How do I submit my Advisor Directory profile?
Follow these five steps inside the Partner Portal to submit your profile for review.
Log in to your firm's Partner Portal and select your firm from the list of organizations.
Navigate to the Settings tab.
Under Advisor Directory, input the firm details you want to appear on your profile (services you offer, credentials and certifications, industries you support, and so on).
Once all required fields are complete, select the checkbox affirming the authenticity of the information provided, then click Submit.
Your application is now submitted for review. Relay notifies you by email as soon as your profile goes live.
What happens after I submit my profile?
Relay's Partner team reviews the details you submitted, and you receive an email confirmation once your profile is live in the public Advisor Directory. Small business owners searching the directory can then find and contact your firm directly.
Why can't I see the option to create an Advisor Directory profile?
The Advisor Directory tab is only visible to owners and members of an accounting or bookkeeping firm with an active Relay firm account. If your account was not designated as a firm account during registration, you will not see the option to submit a directory profile.
If you registered as a business account instead of a firm account and want to switch, contact Relay's Customer Experience team using the link below.
Common issues
Advisor Directory tab is missing — your account was likely registered as a standard business account rather than a firm account; contact Customer Experience to review your account setup.
Submit button is greyed out — one or more required fields are empty or the authenticity checkbox is unchecked; scroll through the form and complete every marked field.
No email confirmation after several days — check your spam or promotions folder, then contact Customer Experience if the notification did not arrive within 10 business days.
