Select Daily transaction limit or Monthly transaction limit and enter the amount
Tap Set limit
When do the new limits take effect?
New limits take effect immediately after you save. The next transaction on the card is measured against the updated daily and monthly amounts.
Who can edit transaction limits?
Administrators on the Relay Account and any team member assigned the Manager role on the credit account can edit transaction limits. Other roles need to ask an Administrator or Manager to make the change.
What is the maximum limit I can set?
Maximum daily and monthly limits vary by account and can increase over time with card usage. There is no formal request process for a higher ceiling; it adjusts automatically as the credit account is used.
If your current maximum is lower than what your business needs, keep using the card as usual, and the available maximum grows with your account.
Common issues
Spending controls option is not visible: your team role does not include card management. Ask an Administrator or Manager to update your permissions or to make the change for you.
Card was lost or stolen: freeze or terminate the card instead of lowering the limit as a workaround. Follow the steps in the lost or stolen guide linked below.
Maximum limit is not high enough for a purchase: no formal request process exists. Continue using the card as normal and the ceiling adjusts automatically as your account matures.
