How to View Transactions in Relay

UpdatedAugust 11, 2026

You can view every transaction in your Relay Account from the Accounts tab, filter the list by keyword, and open any transaction for its full payment details.

What you need before you start

  • An active Relay Account

  • Access to Relay on desktop at relay.app or the Relay mobile app

  • Team member permissions that include the checking or savings account you want to view

Where do I find the transactions page?

The transactions page lives under each checking or savings account in the Accounts tab.

  1. Sign in to your Relay Account on desktop or the Relay mobile app.

  2. Open the Accounts tab in the left navigation.

  3. Select the checking or savings account you want to review.

  4. The Transactions page loads for that account.

To see activity across every account at once, open the Home page instead.

How do I view details for a single transaction?

Click any transaction to open its full details in a side panel on desktop, or a modal on the Relay mobile app.

Each transaction shows:

  • Amount and status

  • Date the payment was initiated

  • Team member who initiated the payment

  • Source checking account

  • Payee information

  • Merchant name, category, and address (for card transactions)

How do I search or filter my transactions?

Use the search bar at the top of the Transactions page to filter by payment type, merchant, card name, or initiator.

The list updates as you type, so you can narrow to a specific merchant, team member, or card without leaving the page.

How do I download a bank statement?

You can download monthly bank statements from the Statements section of your account; the Transactions page shows account activity but does not serve as an official statement. See Downloading and emailing bank statements for the exact steps.

Common issues

  • The Transactions page is empty. You may be viewing an account with no activity yet. Confirm you have selected the correct checking or savings account in the Accounts tab.

  • A recent payment is not showing. Pending payments can take a few minutes to appear. If it has not surfaced within 24 hours, check the expected settlement window for that payment type in Transaction settlement and processing timelines.

  • You cannot see any transactions on an account. Team member permissions control which accounts each user can view. Ask an admin on your Relay Account to review your permissions.

  • The Relay mobile app is not showing transaction detail modals. Force-quit and reopen the app to reload the latest version.
