Emailing statements is available on the web only. From the Statements page, choose Email statements, enter the recipient's address, pick a file type, and pick the accounts.
Sign in to your Relay account on your desktop.
Navigate to the Accounts tab, then select Statements from the drop-down menu.
Choose the month(s) or year(s) you need. Multiple statements can be emailed at once.
Click Export, then Email statements.
Enter the recipient email address.
Select your file type: PDF, CSV, or OFX.

The recipient gets a download link that expires 4 hours after it's sent, for security. If the link expires before they open it, resend the email to generate a new one.
Which file format should I choose: PDF, CSV, or OFX?
Pick the format that matches how the file will be used.
PDF: best for record-keeping, sharing with an accountant or bookkeeper, and submitting to third parties who ask for a statement
CSV: best for opening the transaction detail in a spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers) for review or reformatting
OFX: best for importing transactions into accounting software that supports the format (available on the web only)
Can I export statements to Hubdoc, Dext, or Receipt Bank?
Yes. Relay statements can be forwarded to cloud accounting tools like Hubdoc, Dext, or Receipt Bank on a recurring basis. See Exporting your account statements to Hubdoc, Dext, and more for the setup steps.
Can I get a bank statement that shows my full account number?
No. Bank statements from your Relay account do not display the full account number, and this can't currently be changed.
If a lender, vendor, or agency needs a document that shows the full account number, download a bank verification letter instead. Many third parties accept the bank verification letter on its own; when they don't, provide both the statement and the verification letter together. See Downloading a bank verification letter, void check, or direct deposit form.
Common issues
The emailed link expired before the recipient opened it. Email download links expire 4 hours after sending. Resend the statement from the Statements page to generate a fresh link.
The Email statements option is missing. Emailing is available on the web only. Sign in on desktop rather than the mobile app.
The statement doesn't show my full account number. Statements only show the last four digits. Use a bank verification letter for documents that require the full account and routing numbers.
I need statements for multiple accounts in one file. Select every checking or savings account you need before clicking Done. Relay will bundle them into one export batch.
