Relay does not currently support Zelle. Business customers send and receive payments through ACH transfers, wires, checks, and the Relay Quick Request feature.
Is Zelle coming to Relay?
Zelle support is under evaluation, with no confirmed launch date. If Zelle becomes available on Relay, account holders will be notified by email.
What payment methods does Relay support instead of Zelle?
Relay supports four native payment methods for sending money, plus a shareable link for receiving payments:
ACH transfers: same-day and next-day options for paying vendors, employees, and other businesses
Domestic wires: same-business-day settlement for larger or time-sensitive payments
International wires: available through the SWIFT and Local networks to eligible countries
Checks: mailed to any US address, with mobile deposit for incoming checks
Relay Quick Request: a shareable payment link the payer opens to send money to your Relay account
For business-to-business payments where the sender would typically use Zelle, ACH is usually the closest match on speed and cost.
How do I pay someone who asked for Zelle?
Ask the recipient for their bank account and routing numbers, then send an ACH transfer from your Relay account. ACH covers the same business use case Zelle covers, and settles within one to three business days.
If the recipient uses PayPal or Melio, Relay connects with both, so you can pay through either partner from your Relay Account.
How do I receive money from someone who would normally send Zelle?
Send a Relay Quick Request. Quick Request generates a shareable link the payer opens to send you money, without needing to know your account and routing numbers.
You can also share your Relay account and routing numbers directly for incoming ACH or wire payments.
