How do I update my business website on Relay?
You update your business website by asking Relay's Customer Experience team to make the change on your behalf. The website field isn't self-serve inside the Relay app, so a quick message is all it takes:
Confirm the full URL you want on file, including
https://and the correct domain.Contact Relay's Customer Experience team through in-app chat or by emailing support with your updated website URL.
Wait for confirmation from the Customer Experience team that the change is complete.
Do I need a website to open a Relay account?
A website isn't required to open a Relay account, but it's recommended. A live business website gives Relay's banking partner and internal review teams a clearer picture of what your business does, which can help move your application through review more smoothly.
What if I don't have a website?
If you don't have a business website or a business Facebook page, you can share a LinkedIn profile instead. Relay may follow up with a few additional verification questions, and that won't stop you from opening an account.
Common issues
Your website change isn't showing yet. Website updates are made manually by the Customer Experience team. Check for a confirmation reply, and reach back out if you don't see one within one business day.
You don't have a website to submit. Send a link to your business Facebook page or LinkedIn profile in place of a website. Extra verification questions may follow, but they won't block account opening.
You submitted the wrong URL. Reply to the same Customer Experience thread with the corrected URL and note that it replaces the earlier one.
